National Paigham-e-Aman Committee Holds High-Level Meeting with Punjab Home Department on Religious Harmony and Madaris Affairs

A delegation of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee Pakistan held an important meeting with senior officials of the Punjab Home Department, Lahore, to discuss inter-sect harmony, security arrangements for religious gatherings, and administrative challenges concerning Madaris.
The delegation included Allama Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Coordinator of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee; Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri, Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan and Member of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee; Hafiz Maqbool Ahmad, Provincial Coordinator, and other representatives.
The meeting was attended by Punjab Home Minister Khawaja Suleman Rafique, Punjab Home Secretary Dr. Qazi Ahmad Javed, and senior officials representing Punjab Police, the Auqaf Department, and relevant security institutions.
During the meeting, the delegation appreciated the administrative and security arrangements made for the International Mawlid Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
Discussions also covered the issuance of NOCs, security coordination, and necessary permissions for the upcoming Mawlid and Seerat-un-Nabi Conference at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi.
The participants reviewed challenges relating to bank account facilities for Madaris, law and order, institutional coordination, and inter-sect harmony.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between government departments and Islamic educational institutions to facilitate peaceful religious activities and strengthen national unity.
