Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Holds Important Lahore Division Meeting with Representatives of Over 80 Madaris
An important Lahore Division meeting of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan was held at Dar-ul-Uloom Muhammadiya, Batti Chowk, Lahore, under the chairmanship of Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui, President Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. The meeting brought together administrators, organizational leaders, and representatives of more than 80 Madaris from across Lahore to discuss educational reforms, institutional development, examination modernization, affiliation, registration, and administrative coordination.
The meeting was attended by Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri, Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan; Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Nazim-e-Imtihanat Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan; Allama Ashfaq Ali Chishti, Director of Affiliation and Registration Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan; Allama Muhammad Khalil Hanafi, President Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Lahore Division, along with administrators and representatives of affiliated Madaris.
Addressing the meeting, Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri highlighted the educational and organizational initiatives of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. He emphasized the institution's commitment to transforming the educational framework of Madaris by integrating quality Islamic education, contemporary academic knowledge, professional teacher training, technical skills, and modern educational practices.
He explained that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan is implementing comprehensive programmes to equip students with the knowledge and practical capabilities required to participate effectively in Pakistan's national education system and contribute positively to society.
Discussing institutional challenges, he highlighted the active role of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan in Muttahida Madaris Council Pakistan, which provides a collective platform for addressing the educational, legal, and administrative concerns of Madaris nationwide. Referring to longstanding difficulties in opening institutional bank accounts, he informed participants that progress had been achieved in Islamabad, while the relevant legal and administrative procedures in Punjab were approaching completion.
Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Nazim-e-Imtihanat Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, delivered a detailed briefing on the examination system. He explained that the board's examination framework is based on academic quality, transparency, accountability, and modern technology. Its key features include a Central Monitoring System, online examination monitoring, barcoded roll number slips, computerized result cards, and digital student records. He further stated that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan has been implementing a modern online examination system since 2021.
Allama Ashfaq Ali Chishti, Director of Affiliation and Registration, briefed participants on the affiliation and registration framework. He explained that the organization's coordinated structure at the central, provincial, and divisional levels facilitates effective communication with affiliated Madaris and ensures the systematic implementation of institutional policies and administrative procedures.
Presiding over the meeting, Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui, President Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, appreciated the performance of the organization's various departments. He reaffirmed that, under the educational vision and intellectual guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan remains committed to providing students of Madaris with modern educational opportunities, effective academic administration, professional development, and technical skills while preserving the values of authentic Islamic scholarship.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to strengthening academic standards, institutional cooperation, administrative efficiency, and the integration of Madaris into the broader national educational framework.
Mufti Muhammad Hanif Chishti, Administrator of Jamia Muhammadiya, Ravi Road, Lahore, led the concluding prayer and appreciated the religious, educational, and organizational services of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan.
