Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri, Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, met Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail at the Governor House, Quetta, where matters relating to counter-terrorism, Madaris registration, religious harmony, and provincial cooperation with religious institutions were discussed in detail.

The meeting was attended by members of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee and Provincial Paigham-e-Aman Committee, along with prominent scholars representing different schools of thought. The delegation was led by Allama Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Coordinator of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee, Government of Pakistan.

During the meeting, participants discussed the geographical, ideological, and religious significance of Balochistan, as well as the need for coordinated efforts against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hind. Issues concerning the registration of Madaris, administrative challenges faced by religious institutions, and greater cooperation with Madaris at the provincial level were also reviewed.

The participants emphasized the important role of mosques and Madaris in promoting inter-sect harmony, religious tolerance, mutual respect, social stability, and peaceful coexistence. The scholars strongly condemned terrorism, suicide attacks, and all forms of terrorist violence, stressing that the killing of innocent people has no justification in Islamic teachings.

Speaking on the occasion, Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri highlighted the scholarly contribution of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in countering terrorism and extremist ideology. He referred to Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s comprehensive scholarly fatwa against terrorism and Fitna-e-Khawarij as an important intellectual response to extremist narratives.

He said that the struggle against terrorism requires not only security measures but also a sustained intellectual, educational, and ideological effort to challenge narratives that attempt to provide religious justification for violence and extremism.

Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri reaffirmed that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee would continue contributing to the promotion of peace, national unity, religious tolerance, inter-sect harmony, and a stable and peaceful society across Pakistan.
